As a freelance photographer I enjoy telling visual stories and helping others tell theirs. A great portrait can reveal that story and provide the world a glimpse into who people are. This not only makes for a good portrait but I believe it is a core principle of a good photographer.
When I do custom portrait photography it is always my goal to provide clients with portraits that are authentic to whom they are. That means listening and recommending the best locations or style of photography that best suits their desires or needs. This helps to provide clients with a relaxing atmosphere for a great photoshoot.
